Something old, something new...

Geisha, originally uploaded by 2:12.  Lupe, originally uploaded by 2:12.

Well I guess they are both technically new pieces. The Geisha stencils had been forgotten after painting the aluminum sign series several months ago.  I found them buried as I
was cleaning the studio and decided she should be resurrected on paper.

More pics are here.

  1. Gotta say, first of all your work is just stellar. I'm getting really into the spray arts and I have to ask. I watched the video on vimeo of your work. If you could part with the information, what supplies do you use? Right now I'm working with card stock stencils and I'm getting frustrated with my results. I saw you using plastic sheets, what kind, and are you using a modified soldering iron to melt it? Also, what type of paper are you painting on. No one near me is into the art aspect of it, they all just tag their name, if you could help me that would be awesome. Once again I love your work.
