I work across the street from this image of Our Lady. I was very pleased to see it as I walk to and from the office. The old Medical Arts building has never looked better :) I had no idea where it came from until today when I googled the cryptic 2:12 logo. Of course I am sad to see the image damaged this way. Can it be repaired?
Last time I saw it intact was Wednesday. Yesterday I was having a rough day at work so I went for a walk with an intent to see the image and say a quick prayer, only to find it damaged. Thanks for the reply!
Thanks so much for the report, I hadn't been to Galveston since I placed here there so I had assumed she had been damaged much longer. I will try to make it back down soon to try to repair her.
I AM ALSO FROM GALVESTON AND YOUR PORTRAIT INSPIRED ME TO PAINT. I HAVE VISITED IT NUMERIOUS TIMES BEFORE/AFTER IT WAS DAMAGED. I HOPE YOU DO GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO COME BACK TO GALVESTON AND REPAIR THIS WORK OF ART...WHEN YOU DO DECIDE, I WOULD LOVE TO OBSERVE YOUR TECHNIQUE...THANKS GINO biggino409@hotmail.com
